remake infos and list of singers can be found here.Over 100 celebrities including Kanye West, Celine Dion, Rob Thomas, Verdine White, Brandy ,Usher Jennifer Hudson,Jamie Foxx ,Miley Cyrus,Ne-Yo ,Lady Gaga, Usher and Bono are set to appear on Lionel Richie’s remake of “We Are The World” that is being recorded at Jim Henson’s studio in L.A. as we speak.
The fund-raising single is being put together by Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones, with all proceeds going to the victims of the Haiti earthquake.Micheal Jackson originally came out with “We Are The World” in 1985 to raise money for famine relief in Africa.Michael Jackson’s two oldest children Prince Michael and Paris will apparently be included in Monday’s re-recording.
